Introduction to New Student Evaluation Sheet
When a new student comes to the studio, I carefully interview them about their former lessons
and test how they play the piano in order to make a good lesson plan.  Students of Araya Piano
Studio have a unique lesson plan for each student because everyone learns differently.

A transferred beginners student requires the most detailed lesson plan.  Beginners students
learn a lot of different things in each level.  There are different methods to choose from.  
However that does not mean every transferred students have learned piano correctly.  I have
to know what they know and what they don't know, and what they can do and what they cannot
do at the point.  

The new lesson plan will be made for each new student according to the careful observation
by doing the evaluation.  It helps to choose the best textbooks and to make the best plan of
piano lessons for each student.
