APS Rental Studio Reservation Form
Guideline to the usage of the studio piano
About Room:
1. The only permitted person can use the room.
2. The piano can be used only from 10 am to 11 pm. Playing piano during all the other time is
not permitted by the building management code.
3. When piano is played, please shut two-layered windows and all the doors in the room.
4. Please avoid direct sunshine onto piano especially during the winter time.
5. A/C and heater can freely be used. Please have the all electric switches in original position
after the usage.
6. Bathroom can freely be used. Please have everything in original position after the usage.
7. Do not use Kitchen and Shower room.
8. Leave the front door unlocked during business hours.
9. Keep the room temperature no higher than 24℃ during the winter time or no lower than 24℃
during the summer time. Acoustic instruments do not like a big difference of temperature.
10. Smoking is NOT allowed at the entrance and inside of the rooms. Smoking is allowed only
on balcony.
11. Please change your shoes to house shoes which are set at the entrance. If you would like
to use concert shoes, please clean the sole.
12. The building entrance locks automatically. Once you get out, you cannot reenter.
13. Araya Piano Studio takes no responsibility about accident or incident happened by users.
14. Please do not touch studio equipment such as sheet music, CD, telephone, computer and
etc.
About Piano:
15. Do not use if you are a type of a pianist that plays extremely loud with physical strength.
The piano is old.
16. The only permitted person can use the piano.
17. Please be careful about the metal parts behind the music stand that might damage strings.
18. Please wipe off the keyboard surface with the cloth and shut the keyboard cover after using
piano.
19. Unusual usage of piano such as prepared piano, use of unusual object in piano, or
touching strings, are not allowed.
20. Do not put a hard object such as wrist watch, cell phone or metronome directly on the piano.
21. Do not wide open the big lid. Open just keyboard cover and the front part of rectangle lid.
If you need to wide open the big lid, please ask. It can cause injury because the big lid is heavy.
22. Let all wet materials such as a flower vase or glass of drink away from the piano.
23. Araya Piano Studio will ask certain fee for users on any damage of piano by unusual or
unacceptable way of usage.
